Join us for an end of summer cool down on Sunday, August 17
from 12 noon to 5 pm. The kids are back in school and the rush of
the holidays has yet to begin. It is a perfect time to come relax,
spend some time sewing with friends, eat a delicious lunch and
enjoy a massage and pedicure. Glenda will lead you in making
Buggy Barn’s pattern Basket Crazies. With no points to match, it is
a perfect stress-free, end of summer project. Karen will treat you
to a delicious lunch (plus snacks). We will provide you with a free
shoulder and upper back massage and you will have the option of
getting a discounted pedicure. And what would a Memories
special event be without a zany contest? In keeping with our Fun
in the Sun theme, we will be holding a swimsuit competition. Make
a 12” finished block with one (or more) swimsuits on it. Embellish
it however you wish. You get to vote on the winner and yes, there
are prizes!
