 Here is a preview of some of our upcoming events.  Mark your calendars now!

This ‘N That Club, 1st Monday of every month—Our Table Runner of the month club will be
branching out from just table runners, to a variety of manageable projects.  The first project will be
the Cardigan Jacket, an easy unlined jacket that can be completed in a day.  The club will begin
February 4 and will meet the 1st Monday of every month from 10am—2 pm.  Club fee is $20.00 per
year.  Those that register and pay before January 1 will receive a special pin.

All Things Asian Club, 2nd Monday bimonthly—If you love the beautiful Oriental fabrics that are
so popular now, you will love this club!  This club will focus on projects that are suited to the use of
these beautiful fabrics.  This club will begin in January 14 and will meet the 2nd Monday of every
other month from 10am—2pm.  Club fee is $20.00 per year.  Those that register and pay before
January 1 will receive a special pin.

Stars Across Texas embroidered block of the month.  In 2008 we will be offering Diana Pelton’s
Stars Across Texas block of the month quilt in machine embroidered format.  This BOM will run 12
months.

Project a Month club for Machine Embroidery.  Beginning in 2008, Don McEwen will teach a
small machine embroidery project once a month.  This is a great way to learn different techniques in
a manageable size.

Honey Bee Club– Beginning in January, we will be offering the newest Block of the Month from
Bee Creative Studio(Harvest Home & Harvest Spice),
Butterfly Kisses.  This stunning quilt done in
purples, greens and golds, will be $18 per month for 10 months.  There will be several extra
projects available as well.  
Lois Smith will have an introductory meeting in January.  At that time,
the 1st kit will be available for pick up and you will receive information about the patterns.  At any
time during the 10 months, if you have any questions, you can make arrangements to meet with
Lois.  Look out for an upcoming article in Designer’s Quarters magazine about this quilt!
